She's from Chicago area and I'm from the middle of nowhere. We met at Dawg Days the camp that is offered to incoming students. A couple of weeks into fall semester I found the courage to ask her to meet up for breakfast at Lentz where we found that we both were interested in one another. The photo is of us sitting on "The Worm" outside of Faner Hall, where we would talk and learn about each other before classes.")

I (Daysha) was a Mass Comms Major and he was an Aviation Major. We really didn't talk or became friends until the NSP retreat. At that point in time we had an amazing friend group and we gradually got closer together. Actually we became inseparable. Everyone in our friend group said we should date and we just never saw it, we were "Just Friends". Then boom all of a sudden we did and almost 7 years later we are still together living in Texas with 2 dogs. ")
